My family moved to Wendover in 2016. We have three boys in or soon to join WJS. I am general counsel for a national property management company and hope to use skills and knowledge from my professional life to help WJS where I can.
Hello! I am one of the parent governors at Wendover CE Junior School and have lived in the area for about 20 years. I love being in Wendover and feel very lucky to be part of the community. Both my sons have attended local schools and my youngest son is currently in WJS.
I work in the pharmaceutical industry and my job involves reviewing clinical study data to support licence approvals for new medicines in countries around the world.
I have been a parent governor for more than 2 years and have recently been appointed as one of the Co-Chairs.
I enjoy being part of the governing body and participate in discussions covering a broad range of topics related to the school. I have learnt a lot about the amazing work our teachers and pupils do on a daily basis and all the initiatives being developed to further both teaching and learning opportunities.
I look forward to continuing being part of the governing body team and support the learning and growth objectives of the school.

Rev Sally Moring
Vicar & Foundation Governor
I am the Vicar of St Marys Church, Wendover and a foundation governor for Wendover CE Junior School. I have been a governor here for 5 years; previously I have been a governor of a number of CE schools in Hillingdon and the chair of governors of a community school in my previous parish.
Many years ago I taught in the primary sector and so value the opportunity to draw on those skills and knowledge to support WCEJS as we aim to be the school of choice in our community and help the children to flourish underpinned by the Christian values. I am often seen in school leading the Collective worship as we encourage the children’s spirituality and well-being.
Mr Andrew Hobson
Parent Governor
Mrs Hannah Hook
Parent Governor
Hello! I am one of the parent governors, overseeing the provision in Arts subjects and for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Pupil Premium status. I have two children at the very end and the start of their journeys in Wendover Junior School, and joined the governing board to help understand and enhance their experience of school. Alongside being a Mum, I work as a Clinical Psychologist in our local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) supporting young people with complex mental health needs. I value finding creative ways to engage children and have learnt the importance of shaping an environment to maximise children’s strengths, with everyone working together for a common goal.
Mr Matthew Routledge
Foundation Governor
Matthew has lived in Wendover since 2002 and both his now adult children attended Wendover Church of England Junior School.
After a varied career in property, the last ten or so years spent advising global tech companies on their international property, he was called to ministry and was ordained in 2022. He is currently part-time curate at St Mary’s Church in Wendover and part-time chaplain for an Oxford College. He also teaches part-time at Warwick University.
Matthew is part of the team who lead the collective worship in school or when the school visits St Mary’s.
